J.A.C. Now Accepting Applications for Micro Grants

Posted Tuesday March 3, 2020

The Junior Advisory Council (J.A.C.), the youth philanthropy council of the Coffeyville Area Community Foundation, is now accepting grant applications for smaller projects in the Coffeyville Area.  The primary focus of the J.A.C. grant is to support youth leadership and youth-centered non-profit organizations in Coffeyville, and the surrounding areas.

Grants are based on a one-time, single-year award. The deadline for grant applications is April 1st, 2020 for awards announced in May 2020.

Groups who have been awarded grants in the past include Coffeyville Recreation Commission Youth Activites, Boys and Girls Club – Shop With a Cop, Coffeyville Children’s Summer Theatre, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center -- OK Kids, Crisis Resource Center, Coffeyville Community Children’s Choir and many more.

J.A.C., under the direction of the Coffeyville Area Community Foundation, is a group of high school age students interested in philanthropy, volunteering, learning leadership skills, voicing their opinion on important youth issues and working with community youth.  These students will consider grant applications to programs that benefit youth in our community.

For more information or to request an application visit or contact J.A.C. Advisor, Kari Vannoster Price at phone: 620-515-1118 or email: or see a member of J.A.C.
