Over $93,000 raised for local Non profits on Match Day!

Coffeyville Area Community Foundation hosted Match Day on Tuesday, November 15th, at the Perkins Building, Downtown Coffeyville Plaza, to benefit 22 local nonprofit organizations and charitable funds.   A steady stream of donors came throughout the day to support local causes.  From 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Match Day brought donors and representatives from the nonprofit organizations together on a single day to raise significant funds for local needs. 

Local Nonprofit Organizations participating in Match Day received contributions from over 96 donors making 227 gifts with a total impact of over $93,550 including contributions, the match, and prize dollars. KGGF Radio hosted a live-remote and provided an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to speak on the air about the mission of their organization and updates on current goals and activities.

This year Coffeyville Area Community Foundation and The Bernard and Effie Jo Wade Family Foundation partnered to provide $25,000 match to donations given to 22 local nonprofit organizations and charitable endowed funds.

During Match Day, on site donors submitted their names to be placed in an hourly drawing for a charitable organization to receive an additional $50.

  • Coffeyville Friends of Animals-submitted by Natalaya Smith
  • Boys and Girls Club of Coffeyville-submitted by Larry Fischer
  • Cedar Bluff Camp-submitted by Ray Hawley
  • Cedar Bluff Camp- submitted by Chuck McFate
  • Coffeyville Public Library-submitted by Jerry and Norma Hamm
  • Senior Services-submitted by Joan Fons.
  • Grand Prize drawing in the amount of $200 was given to Boys & Girls Club submitted by Cooperative Credit Union.

    Additional prize dollars were awarded to: 
  • Boys & Girls Club of Coffeyville for most dollars contributed overall
  • CRMC Foundation for 2nd most contributions overall
  • Coffeyville Friends of Animals for 3rd most dollars overall
  • Midland Theatre Foundation for most contributions online
  • Boys & Girls Club of Coffeyville for most donors online
